“Gilda” is not a casual name, but rather an onomatopoeic and affectionate fusion of the names Adua, Gigi, and Ilda.
Its roots go back to 1984, when Adua Minari, an enterprising woman from Emilia, decided to bring a culinary dream to life together with her husband Luigi Tabarani.
Over the years, this strong partnership allowed GILDA to grow and establish itself, earning international recognition for its name.
